Ted Stevens

Ted is the second founding partner of the firm and has been a life long resident of the local area.  Ted achieved his Bachelor of Arts at Queen’s University, in 1971, and graduated from the Faculty of Law there, in 1974.  After a one year articling term in Toronto, he returned to practice in Owen Sound at the firm of Horton & Middlebro’.

Ted’s practice consists mainly of Civil Litigation, including such matters as Commercial Litigation, Family Law, and Construction Liens.  Ted’s practice also encompasses the areas of Real Estate, Criminal, Estate Administration, etc.  Ted is an active member of the Kiwanis Club in Owen Sound.

Ted has several interesting hobbies, but spends most of his spare time riding around the province on the rail lines.  Ted, his wife and two sons, enjoy long excursions on the family “Speeder”, a powered rail car equipped to run on rail lines.  Ted can also be found coaching the firm’s Little League Hockey Team and has always enjoyed contributing to his home community.
