John H. E. Middlebro'
John is one of the founding partners of the firm and is now one of the most senior solicitors in Grey & Bruce Counties. He is a 1965 graduate of the University of Western Ontario, associated with Huron College, and graduated from UWO Law School in 1968. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1970 and has practiced law in Owen Sound ever since. His practice spans many areas of law including Real Estate, Labour Relations, Civil Litigation, Wills and Estate Administration, Corporate/Commercial transactions and governance, and Provincial Offences Prosecutions. He is veteran Deputy Justice of the Ontario Superior Court, Small Claims Division with over 25 years service, a former Ontario Assessment Review Board Member and is a Member of the Federal CPP/OAS Appeals Tribunal. He is a founding member of the Grey County Legal Aid Committee and a Past President of the Grey County Law Association. John acted as counsel for a key party in the 2000 Walkerton Water Inquiry.
Over the years, John has been a member of countless community organizations, clubs, and associations. John continues with private Arbitrations, Wills, Estates & Elder Law practice. He continues to act as “Counsel” to the Firm.
